Millefiori
Thin canes of coloured glass fused and sliced into flower-like patterns — the signature look of Murano.
A centuries-old Italian tradition
Murano, an island in the Venetian Lagoon, has been associated with glassmaking for centuries. Murano artisans developed and refined techniques including crystalline glass, enamel decoration, gold glass, multicoloured millefiori and milk glass.
These traditions continue to inspire contemporary glass artists and collectors around the world — and they are what you can hold in your hand at our shop in Rome.

Hand-cut sections of patterned cane, set into pendants, rings and bracelets.
Fine metal leaf sealed inside the glass so the piece catches the light from within.
Layers of colour submerged one inside another for depth in beads and bracelets.
Vases, bowls and sculptures shaped by breath and hand at the furnace.
